Pumpkin
	The pumpkin is a seasonal symbol of Halloween and late autumn. This realistic candle is deliciously scented with "Pumpkin Spice". Halloween is one of two occasions when the veil between this world and the next is said to be at its thinnest. This belief harks back to the Celtic festival of Samhain when the oncoming longest nights and winter brought thoughts of danger and death. Protective bonfires were lit and rituals foretelling people's fortune in the coming new year were carried out. Offerings of food were left on doorsteps and altars for the wandering dead, and turnips were hollowed out and carved to act as protective spirits.
