	This candle is named after “Cliodna of the Fair Hair”, the Irish goddess of the sea, beauty, and the afterlife. She rules the Land of Promise, an otherworld where there is no violence or death. She is associated with the Irish coastline, waves, seabirds and the number 9. Cliodna fell in love with a young sailor, Ciabhan, for whom she fled from the otherworld but while Ciabhan was out hunting, Mannan, the Sea God, put Cliodna into an enchanted sleep and sent a wave that drew her back to the Land of Promise. This gel candle is two-wicked, and features a real starfish and assorted sea shells on a bed of sand. It will burn for over 20 hours.
