| Enjoy the beauty and originality of a novelty candle with the clean and long-burning quality of a pillar candle. Scented with "Tidal Wave" and with a teal two-tone effect, this candle shows a relief mermaid stroking a dolphin on the front, and another dolphin and seagull motif at the back. "Llyr" is one of the names for the Celtic God of the Sea and according to a Cornish legend, one of his daughters, "Morveren", fell in love with the harmonious voice of the handsome "Mathew Trewella", who sang in the parish church of Zennor. Morveren wearing a disguise went to listen to Mathew in the church, but one day she sighed and drew attention to herself. It was love at first sight for Mathew, and as she tried to run away to escape the crowd, Mathew followed her into the sea, where he lived forever after singing to her.
