The shopping basket facility calculates the price of each individual candle and its packed weight BUT ONLY on UK ORDERS. If you are ordering from overseas, please email us for a quote. A "Certificate of Posting" will be obtained with each despatch as well as a tracking number where applicable, but no responsibility for loss or damage incurred in transit can be accepted in excess of the level of compensation granted by the carrier (see below). In the case of items damaged on delivery, a replacement will be sent upon return of the damaged item.UK parcels will be sent via Royal Mail or an independent courier depending on the weight. Here is a breakdown of the weight/cost bands:
Parcels sent by Royal Mail should reach you within 2 to 5 working days from the date of despatch. Parcels sent via courier aim to reach you the following day. The maximum weight of your parcel is 25kg. If it is heavier than this, please wait for us to contact you with a quote. The first 25kg can be sent to you via courier, while the remainder of your order may be sent with Royal Mail depending on the weight. Postal Rates (OVERSEAS incl. Northern Ireland & Offshore Islands):We regret that we cannot provide a breakdown of shipping costs to all other countries. We will send parcels by surface mail in general, which depending on your location may take from 2 to 8 weeks. For light parcels, we will usually send it by airmail but give you the choice when we email you your quote. Only parcels of up to 5kg can currently be sent with Royal Mail. Methods of payment include UK cheques, Euro cheques, money orders, international orders, and credit card payments through Paypal. Please note that payment in a currency other than pounds sterling will be calculated at the rate of conversion applicable on the day of notification. Payment should then follow within 24 hours or a re-quote will be necessary.Wholesale Orders:We welcome wholesale orders from any customer but we regret that we do not have a catalogue to send out. This website is kept regularly updated and every candle that we make can be seen on this website along with its retail price. To benefit from wholesale prices, your order may contain any candle(s) from our range so long as the total retail value is a minimum of £50 (excluding postage). This offer is not cumulative with any other discount voucher you may have received. You can sign up for our mailing list on the Home Page to receive emails about updates. As this is a small-scale business with a limited output, please allow plenty of notice for large orders, especially if several pieces of the same model are required. |
